The Folar live in the fields surrounded by the other packs.
They are one of the oldest packs in Atoora National Park, and the wisest. They have an incredible knowledge that would be useful if it weren't for the fact that they are a very weak group. They are constantly invaded and are pushovers.
The Folar have adapted the ability to heal, which is very useful considering that they loose almost every fight they get into. When they realized this, the other packs became very jealous and tried to steal the idea, giving birth to the 'medic' rank. Of course, they have no experience and cannot do anything about it.
The Folar usually travel in groups of three or two, depending on how many wolves are currently in the pack. Usually the Folar are a very small groups, but have been known to swell in numbers. But since catching their prey is incredibly hard, the alphas usually mate only once every other year.
The Folar haven't left the place they've lived, the Hillside, in many years, making them even more vulnerable. Most of the other packs have protected dens or move their dens every few months or so, but the only protection the Folar have are the large hills covering their territory.
A large part of the Folar 'culture' is the Tree of Years. The older wolves take the trainees and pups there often to teach them about the past and how to heal. Though the Tree of Years isn't a very significant landmark, the pack would be crushed if they lost it.
The Folar have recently decreased in size, and human researchers were going to introduce pups to the pack until it became final that all national parks would be torn down.
